Dazzle Dry Glitter Gradient

Good Morning Lovelies!

I always have the best intentions of trying to post more often, but it never fails that life gets in the way and there is no time for nails or posting. But hey, at least I'm still managing for once weekly so that counts for something, right? Today I have a glitter gradient to share with you. The purple and gold color combo is one that I reach for again and again so when I saw these two Dazzle Dry colors hanging out together, I knew I had to pair them up on the nail. Yes, they were indeed hanging out together, waiting for their moment in the spotlight. Both are from the Summer 2015 collection, so they have been waiting for quite a while for me to finally show them off.

For the manicure I used a base of Dazzle Dry Cyclone and then sponged on the golden glitter Dazzle Dry Yellow Brick Road. Quick, simple and oh so sparkly...

Dazzle Dry Cyclone is made up of duochrome purple to gold shifting flakies in a sheer base. The golden tones really come out when looking at the nail at indirect angles. It took 2-3 coats for full coverage. I mostly used 3 thinner coats for quicker and smoother dry time, but 2 thicker coats worked just as well. Swatches are with the Dazzle Dry top coat.

Some of the pretty golden shift...

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

  3. Great color combination, especially this time of year!
No worries on not posting ever day! I don't know how some do that. I would be SO burned out. I hate that a nail blog would become a chore instead of something you enjoy so... post as you can, not because you feel you have to! We'll still be here!
