Champagne Bubbles!

Hi Everyone! I hope you are have a great day today preparing to greet the new year! I have not had the energy nor the mood to paint my nails for the past week, but I'm hoping that will change today. I want to have something special for tonight's celebration. In the mean time, I would like to show you a manicure that I created a while back that reminds me of bubbles of champagne. Perfect for the occasion...

For this manicure, I used a base of Glam Polish You and Me (But Mostly Me) from the Broadway collection. I stamped the bubble image from Gals plate GA9 using my recent go to stamping black, KleanColor Black.

The Gals images are too short for my nails, but rather than avoid using them at all since they have lots of cute designs, I try to accentuate the flaws by making them a bit of a feature. Sometimes I stamp the image closer to the cuticles and add a french tip, but in this case I decided to stamp it closer to the tips and outline the half-moon with a detail brush and some black polish.

I think the half-moon lightens the manicure up a bit and lets the beautiful gold shine through even more...

I'd love to know what you think of this manicure!

Are you all ready for 2015?

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
